10 miles.
3 mile warmup, then 5 x 2:00 at sub-5k pace at the beginning of each of 5 miles, with the remainder of the mile at recovery pace to 6:30.
Went 5:00 pace for the first, then 4:53, 4:53, 4:51, 4:42.
I felt strong through the end of each one, but am definitely stunned that anyone can go 4:30 or better (hello Teague and Darrah) as after .42 miles at 4:42, I was done.
I suppose if I was all warmed up, tapered down and ready to roll for just those 4 66's or so in a row, I might be able to swing it, but man, I am more impressed by those who can kill the mile after this workout.
