I'm not so bummed about not running today, and I got some great advice from Tom on how to think about yesterday's race and subsequent injury.
One thing that yesterday certainly did solidify is my belief in my training. Even if it may have led to a bad hammy, I still can't even believe I'm back in that 5:06 range and able to hold it. That's where I was at Ollie last year and where I was for Lone Gull. This is earlier and with stronger, more consistent training, not by much, but just a little more refined.
Anyway, the zilch-o leaves me with 70 on the 6 day week. Not bad. Hope to run tomorrow, or certainly by Tuesday.
