6 miles.
Ho-hum, it's already become so ordinary again (not.) The big question(s) here is (are) this (these):

Does everything hurt so much because of all the biking? I have to keep in mind that I haven't biked in earnest, well, ever. I would go in these spurts years ago where I'd become obsessed with building a single speed and then ride it for a few weeks before I decided I really didn't like biking that much, especially since I saw it as taking away from energies that could much more efficiently (and enjoyably, especially for my taint) be used running.
Still, Everything hurts like a long run, everything except the injury, so that's a good thing. I imagine the biking 5 days a week for 45 minutes to over an hour at a relatively hard effort hopefully is the culprit.

Has my heart rate always been up that high while running 6:30-6:40 pace? I mean, 140-145 isn't necessarily "high," but getting up there and staying up there on the bike takes a hell of a lot more effort, it seems. Then again, refer to the first question to see that I've got over 20,000 miles of running building these legs versus maybe 500 miles of biking.

Was it stupid to end up at the track (I say that like it happened by accident)?
More than anything, I just wanted see if running up on my toes A) hurt and B) would alleviate this heel-clodding leg pain I have from, well, heel-clodding.
I ran a very cautious 76 (ouch,) and then made myself feel a little better with a 74 and a 71. Cooled down for a mile and that was it.

The injury feels OK, it's just the rest of the body that need work.

Tomorrow, I'm not doing anything, no bike, no nothing, then Monday, I'll see if I feel good enough to try another 6 or maybe even 8.

Anyway, glad to be writing a week down that actually has some consistent running in it (even if the week still hasn't surpassed then absolute bare minimum Mendoza line of 20 miles.
