Felt the calf only when I finished. Wanted to get right in and ice it, but forgot that we had a photo shoot to get to and then I was off to work at the restaurant after that. So, what's the worst thing to do right after a run? Well, a hot shower of course.
So that's where I was. No ice, no elevation, no rest. Right out to walking in sand in dress shoes and then 6 hours of going up and down stairs. I taped the leg, but I still felt it. It's OK now, after ice. I'll play it by ear tomorrow, but still glad I was able to get in 9 without any trouble during the actual running anyway.
