8.5 miles in the Newtons @ 6:29 pace.
The calf ached a little by 2, but by 4, it hadn't gotten at all worse and by 6 it felt pretty good, even when I picked it up to a little sub-5:00 pace for a minute, just to see how that felt. The soleus still hurts in the spot a little, but it's no longer debilitating, instead moving around the the back of the calf.
I worked after and was OK, then iced and wrapped (as I did after the run) before bed.
We'll see if running tomorrow is a good idea, well, tomorrow.
