Ok, so yesterday it was just as well that I took the day off. Between the previous day's 14.5 and the morning wedding and evening track meet photos, it was just the way it had to be.
I knew my leg hurt, but I had to at least try to get a run in and see how it felt.
Went from the road to the woods and back to the road for a 7.5 miler at 7:00-ish pace. Can't say it felt dandy, and after speaking with Dave, the 10-miler is still not such a lock for me. He's right (as is John Noland,) I need to let this thing heal and come back strong. I have a lot of running ahead of me, but none of it good if I can't get this thing right.
