I'd looked at the weeks leading up to Falmouth (and before that Newburyport) and figured that this would be the best day to do a good long, hard run.
It was dry and not too warm, so conditions were great. Started out at a decent clip and then went right down to 6:09 by mile 5. 7 through 11 were where I wanted to do some damage and I did.
