I'd be lying if I said I was OK with this, but the reason for the day off is all too good.
The leg acted up a little, and by "a little," I mean just that- a very wee bit. Still, this is enough to scare the crap out of me and force me to a day of rest. I still have 5 solid weeks before the marathon, so I'm not hitting the panic button by any means. I just need to make damned sure this is 100% before I carry on, because 5 weeks of 50 miles and pain with no real long runs is not nearly as good as one off-week and 4 of 80+ and feeling decent through 18-22's.
