12 miles @ 6:21 pace.
So, it was supposed to be an easy 12, just get out and do it, no strain, no push, just run.
However, between the temps, the flat terrain of the bike path and kickin' music, I was quickly down to sub 6:30, which these days isn't feeling like anything other than just a smooth cruising speed, but still...
I was paying attention to whether at any point my body was feeling fatigued and I promised I'd slow down to keep things even and easy if it did. But that never happened. 6:12 became 6:04 and everything was just rolling, so I ran a 5:50 12th and it really just felt like, well, what it was- easy marathon pace.
Still not counting any chickens or any shit like that, but more of this and just staying healthy is going to get me into very good shape. So what if I'm 42? I want a year full of PR's and there's no reason to think they aren't coming.
