Friday, March 28th, 2014

Day 2 of calf rest. It's not harsh, it's just there, and with that in mind and with my intent to race Sunday (however awful that may be for a few reasons,) the smart choice was taking today off. If I didn't take today off and ran instead, it likely would aggravate it from even a short run, and then I wouldn't be able to run at all tomorrow. Instead, my hope is that it will feel good enough to run an easy hour tomorrow and that along with Sunday, I'll be able to string together two decent days, with Sunday being a hard workout by racing.
Of course, if I go tomorrow and it still hurts like a sonofabitch, all bets may be off and Sunday may be in question. We'll see...
