10 miles at 4:30 a.m. today. Tried to beat the heat and did that, but in the process got freaked out by something in the distance emitting a low, loud growl, bats all around my head and a freaking huge tarantula that I almost squished. Still had a good run and after a slow first mile (8:28) managed 6:46 the rest of the way.
