11 miles pretty darned fast.
I'm getting my toe(nail) checked out tomorrow as it is smelly and infected. It is not, however, painful (which is not necessarily a good thing in terms of prognosis, but is for running today.)
I went out feeling great tonight and came back even better, going sub 6 for all of miles 5-10 without much extra effort.
I really hope this toe doesn't set me back, as this is the strongest and healthiest I've felt in a long time. I'm also as light as I've been in a heck of long time, as between work and the mileage, I've gone from 144 post-marathon to 133. No wonder I feel springy.
I'm hoping to do the Yankee 10 if i can get the night off on Tuesday, and though I don't expect utter greatness, I may juts get surprised.
