Oct. 17th, 2010

0 miles.
And thus concludes a sick, confounding week.
Went to the Bay State marathon where I saw so many great people I am lucky enough to call friends do amazing things (and some fall apart, but hey, it's a marathon, as we all know, these things happen.)
Got yelled at by the RD to get my bike off the course (not knowing that some other shmuck had ruined it for the rest of us earlier.)
Tom ran 2:30. Brandon ran 2:25. Chris Spinney ran 2:40. Mark Gibson ran 2:36. Ephraim Ezekial ran 2:47. Jim Johnson ran 2:27. Tim Cotoggio went 2:32. Meaghan Mathews-Hegarty ran 2:57, Nancy Corsaro ran 3:08, Nadine Palmer ran 3:17 All sorts of other good times and races, but those especially stood out for me.
The team swept everything and got 3rd in Mens Open. Not bad at all.
Found out we picked up Joe Donnelly (recently turned 40 and a super-nice guy who happens to be rather quick.)
Not going to kick myself over the mileage, as the last 3 weeks were strong and this cold feels like it's on the way out. A solid week should set me up nicely for Mayor's Cup and then it's 2 weeks to XC Champs.
