December 11th, 2010

5 miles easy.
This was 5 easy because I intended to race a local 5k tomorrow, but after 3, my hammy started acting up. Nothing big, but enough to know that racing and trying to hold 5 minute pace would be flirting with bad stuff for sure.
Tomorrow I'll see how it feels and hopefully just go for a longish, slowish run, but it will have to be played by ear.
Scott reminded me how the workouts I did this week will in no way leave room for error in terms of recovery, and a fairly fast 15 in the cold the day after a hard 10x400 and 3 days after 11 miles of sub 6 work is not exactly smart recovery.
