Feb 10th, 2011

9 miles with 2 x 90/75/60/45/30/15 fartleks.
First set @ 5:10 pace, 2nd set @ 5:00 pace.
I was on the first 90 of a 3rd and - man is this a broken record - the right hammy acted up, so instead I just kept it right around 5:45 for the last 3, going 5:46, 5:54, 5:36 and feeling really good and smooth (except for the hamstring.)
I'm running easy for the next 2 and I'll just have to decide on Sunday whether I can cook it with Tom at 5:40-5:45 for 12 or hang back. I know aerobically I'd love t do it, it's just a matter of whether the leg will like the pace and the rollers.
Hoping it works out to go fast, because man, that felt good.
