8.3 miles @ 6:57 pace.
Just went out into the cold and ran. Did a little woods, some fields, mostly roads. Have to admit I felt ever so slightly tight and sore @ 3, but by 6 I felt great and tacking on the final 2 did no worse wear.
It really is a slow road back to feeling like distance doesn't = pain, and I know it'll be a bit before the everyday 8 mile run is just something I do as if it were nothing, but just the fact that I can do this is a very good thing.
