7 miles @ 6:43 pace. Took it nice and easy and felt good.
Ordered some Mizuno Wave Musha's (they look like they'll be a lot like those Wave Idaten's I loved so long ago,) to give me some variation from the Newtons. My thinking is I never had any injury issue when I was running in less shoe. It's only been in the last two years with my exploration of Nike's cushioned stuff that I've had issues. Plus, they may make for a decent racer for the 10 and 1/2 at 7.8 oz. Holy crap, did I just say "racer"? Hold me...)

Mushas are good but I like the Ronins better. I spent a lot of time in both. Mushas give you a little more cushion, but the Ronins are just bad-ass and the name is way cooler.

True that. My son asked me if I was running with sushi strapped to my feet after I told him the name.
I ram Boston in 2008 in the first Ronins and loved them. The second ones felt a little different, but it could be me just getting older and fatter-footed.
