9.2 miles easy with Scott.
Somewhere around 7, my left upper calf tightened up, so I decided to stretch it a bit. Bad move. That rendered it too tight to run on, so we walked for 5-6 minutes. I was then able to run gingerly for the rest and get back in one piece.
It was an area that had bothered me early on in the 1/2 and led to some caution on the uphills in the first 4, but I hadn't felt it since.
I admittedly have not been drinking nearly enough water this week and I believe that fact to have a great deal to do with it. Resting and rehydrating for the rest of the day and hoping everything's a go for a very slow long run tomorrow a.m.
