Oct. 25th, 2010

12 miles @ 6:34 pace.
Felt sore and a little beat up at the start, but after 3 or 4 plodding along, started to loosen up and hit some 6:15-6:20 pace.
Still not exactly as things were planned, as the day after a race, 12 quicker miles on a hilly course probably wasn't the smartest thing, but 1) I felt pretty good after I got going and 2) I hated the way the strength fell out during the middle miles of the race and I needed to push things a little, as the easier approach I was taking the last 2 weeks wasn't working, and maybe even I wanted to hurt myself just a little to remind me how to train.
